- "You all really put together a great show ... I will be back next year. Who ever missed this year's Ghettogether, missed out on the time of a lifetime." -- Rick Ray '84, Houston, TX
- "I had a blast! It was great to see everyone again. Since I had only attended SAHS for 2 months, I didn’t know a lot of people. But I can tell you this, I felt the same welcome and friendliness from everyone at the reunion that I felt 20 years ago when I came into SAHS from a non-military life in the U.S. I met a lot of new people and got reacquainted with a few I “sort of” knew back when. I look forward to keeping in touch with those folks and attending future reunions. There’s a sense of family with the people who attended SAHS and that warm fuzzy feeling stays with you. Thanks again for all your efforts in bringing this opportunity to all of us. -– Mary-Jean Zampino ‘82, San Diego, CA
- "Wow!" -- Laura Gentle DeLuca '83, Rosslyn, VA
- "This is so AWESOME!" -- Kelly Gilliam Hogge '83, Marshall, VA
- "Great job! Thanks for all the hard work in putting this together. It was great to finally meet everyone." -- Mary-Jean Zampino '82, San Diego, CA
- "It was nice seeing everyone again. The reunion brought back a lot of good memories. It was refreshing to see and hear that everyone was doing good. I still find it amazing that a group of people that went to high school together, in a foreign country, over 8000 miles away, could get together 15-20 years later, in the Capital of the United States and make it seem like it was just yesterday!! -- Leon Webb '82, Pembroke Pines, FL
- "I had a ball! That group of people seemed to be the friendliest
group that I've run across in ages ...possibly because we had one major thing in common, huh? I felt like I'd known them for years!" -- Tonya Blanchard '81, Alexandria, VA
- "I thought it was great fun; it was my first and I hadn't seen any of you. You guys went through a lot of work that really was appreciated from my side. Wish I were closer to help." -- Laura West Gabel '85, Federal Way, WA
- "I'm a convert! Now that I've been to a Ghettogether, I can't imagine I'll be missing any more. You guys should be commended for putting on a first rate reunion. The reunion in Vegas was great; I didn't feel it could be topped, but the Ghettogether felt like family, you made everyone feel welcome. I'm gonna be working on getting the word out to everyone I keep in touch for next year." -- Steve Beaupre '87, New Britain, CT
- "For the LOVE OF GOD ... you know EXACTLY how I feel about this year's Ghettogether. I was hoping to have a great time, but it surpassed my every expectation. As events go, it was really well organized (once again, kudos to the committee), and as I told said before, my old classmates truly moved me. Many of the people I used to hang out with weren't present, so I got to make 'new old friends'; everyone was so warm and approachable ... nothing stilted about this group!! I'm really looking forward to next year, besides, my team has a volleyball title to defend! -- Maria Giannakis ‘84, Atlanta, GA
- "I would have to say, that was one of the coolest reunions I've ever been to. I never thought in a million years that I would ever see any of some of those people again. Just seeing faces from back in the day, jolted my memory like it was just yesterday; the '78 -'79 R.B. TROJANS were playing for the championship. I hope next year more people from my second tour (5/83 to 5/85) show up. One thing is for sure, Stuttgart brats still know how to raise a lil' hell." -- Vinny Trump '84, Woodbridge, VA
- "This was my first one and I had alot of fun-it was great to see Susan Stein that I have known since elementary school! Also Leanne (Bretzfelder) and Robin (Peters) whom I was in 9th grade with! I will try to come next year and hopefully see some other lost friends that did not make it." -- Kelly Connors '84, Holt, MI
- "I thought it was a great time. Lots to do. I enjoyed the dance that night as well." -- Dave Koston '88, Beaver Falls, PA
- "This years Ghettogether was a blast! It was so fun meeting friends from years past. It was also great meeting some alumni for the first time. We all had a common bond and it was great having that connection that only 'a brat' would understand. I will definately be there again next year. See you there!" -- Michelle Morley '88, Melborne, FL
- "The reunion was a great success. My family really enjoyed the day and the activities. I thought the reunion was planned well and had something for all ages to do as well. To me just being with everyone no matter what we do is going to be a great experience for all. I think [the Ghettogether personnel] did a fabulous job pulling it off. I am planning on coming back again next year. Look forward to seeing you again next year." -- Corey Williams '88, Salem, OR
